I honestly do not think “AI will never be as good as human creativity” is a good argument at this point. Like yes, it is true right now, but they’re just going to keep trying to prove it wrong. To me the line is, “Modern AI is built off of PLAGIARISM, UNPAID and UNDERPAID labor.” AI is a labor rights issue, not just for the people who’s labor it would replace, but for the people whose labor was STOLEN for the AI to “create” anything.

EDIT: I am beyond salvation. My very soul has been ripped asunder and then shoved disorderly back within its mortal shell. I have pierced the veil from my comfortable life into the undulating, indescribable, otherworldly mockery that is corporate greed and poorly attempted relatability. Every angstrum of my body has endured a thousand tortures and i will never be able to return to the existance i once took for granted. Why? What cruel sadistic god would divine such a thing to exist? No. Why wouldn’t they? for it is the greatest punishment for our sins. Hell is empty, and all the devils are here within these 16:9 confines. I shudder at the presumtion that those stronger than I have been bent and broken under this travesty at full size and volume in the pantheon of film. Such a cruel pennance i would not wish on anyone no matter their crime.
I have to watch that trailer every time I see a movie, and I watch like five movies a month.
